Description

If an explosive dust atmosphere exists in the raw gas compartment of the Herding^® filter unit depending on the operating mode of the cleaning system, the Herding^® Sinter-Plate Filter acts as a DustExZoneBarrier and, therefore, no explosive dust atmosphere exists on the clean gas side.

Benefits

The units situated downstream from the Herding^® filter unit need to be designed only for the simple safe zone and are not required to be configured with explosion protection features.
